Type the following in your terminal :
brew install wget
brew install autoconf
sudo /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/bin/pecl install mongo
Add extension=mongo.so to your php.ini file which can be found at /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/etc by default.
Restart Apache.
